Your team's eye on the ball...
or on their phone?
Phone Freedom Wellbeing Sessions
Hi, I'm Emi, a Screen Wellbeing Specialist. What! You’ve never heard of one? Yep, we’re new. I run online and in-person wellbeing workshops about Phone Freedom – what it is and why it’s important.
So in this 2024 landscape, does your wellbeing strategy have a screen/tech/digital element? Maybe I can help.
Did you know…
… businesses lose at least a work week a year, to their employee’s phones?*
The world has changed, we need to, too
We talk a lot of things digital: algorithms, digital footprints, social media feeds, screen time... but not much about personal impact.
How has a life lived online affected our health, wellbeing, safety?
In the name of progress, efficiency, connection we've over-looked something. Technology is the way forward. It's fast, neat, clean, visually and mentally stimulating, a lit-up, pocket-sized buzz machine. There's no doubt - society bellows: Technology is good! And it is, SO good.
And then there's another, quieter message: I'm on my phone too much. A pang of guilt follows and a burying of the thought in another deep digital dive.
We're missing a world of nuance in between: technology ROCKS! and something else we're finding it hard to put our finger on.
We're missing solutions or even a broader understanding of what's at play and how it moves us in tiny but important ways.
